UDA SOCCER Connections

The University Development Academy at New Mexico State is affiliated with University Degrees Abroad UK. While separate organizations, they collaborate to enhance student experiences and development through these key connections:
  • Guest Coaching Sessions: Academy coaches from UDA UK will visit for special coaching sessions.
  • Unified Curriculums: Integrated coaching and playing curriculums across both academies.
  • Exclusive Gear: Players receive branded Capelli kits.
  • Professional Pathways: Opportunities for professional trials and career development.
  • European Trips: Access to UDA UK’s European trips for broader exposure.
  • Career Opportunities: Pathways both on the field through UDA exit trials and off the field through alumni connections for career opportunities.

Four PART DEVELOPMENT MODEL

TRAINING SCHEDULE

UDA will develop a training and playing schedule that fits into the student academic schedule.
All UDA Student Athletes are Students first and training times are scheduled around the academic calendar.

ACADEMY PHILOSOPHY

UDA Soccer is committed to helping student/athletes reach their optimal playing potential through development, exposure and opportunities across a number of platforms.

Each Academy player will receive formative assessment feedback in meetings as well as written evaluations twice a year.

The UDA program recognizes the most formative development years are between the ages of 18 to 22. UDA offers the focus to be on the student/athletes developmental needs rather than the focus of winning over development. Every player admitted into UDA at NMSU will be given equal opportunity for success.
